Located on the corner of Allen and Houston streets, this little Mom and Pop company flourished in the garment district and became a permanent fixture in the landscape of the Lower East Side. The family business was eventually taken over by Irving's son, Myron, whose dedication and hard work led the expansion of Economy Foam, and the eventual addition of futons to our inventory. Today, Economy Foam & Futons finds itself on the verge of a new endeavor, opening a branch in the heart of Manhattan's Greenwich Village on 8th St. between 5th and 6th Ave.
